Marriage
Encounter weekends are held by volunteers, and Marriage Encounter relies
on donations to pay for all expenses incurred. A weekend has already
been paid for in full by loving couples who benefited from their Marriage
Encounter experience, and you will be given the opportunity to make a
donation before the close of your weekend. The average national cost
of a Marriage Encounter weekend is $450 per couple, and we are thrilled
to report that because of the generosity of couples that have shared
their financial support beyond that average cost no couple has been turned
away from a Marriage Encounter Weekend. Think of it as a “
pay
it forward
”
system where you give from your heart to people you may not have met
yet. Incredibly, this system has worked for more than 40 years. We know
from experience that when everyone gives as they are able that we will
be able to meet all our obligations.
The application fee of $45 is to hold your place
for a weekend and should be mailed to the National Treasurer:
